I know there hasn't been much activity in this group for a while; but while stumbling around Youtube for a bit, I came across an entire vault of alternate Led Zeppelin songs that I just had to share.

Alternate Songs:

:bulletred: This haunting take of "When The Levee Breaks" was recorded not long after the release of their third album in 1970.

:bulletblue: From the Calaba box set, and alternate take of "No Quarter."

:bulletyellow: Alternate take and very different, "In The Light."

:bulletgreen: Alternate version of, "Battle of Evermore" recorded without Sandy Denny. Gives me chills every time I hear it.

:bulletpurple: Take nine of, "Babe I'm Gonna Leave You."

:bulletorange: This chilling, mid eastern vibe version of "Friends."

:bulletorange: Bombay session of, "Four Sticks."

:bulletyellow: A first recording of, "Stairway."

:bulletblue: Some more rarities including unreleased and alternate.

Performances:

:bulletblue: Jimmy Page and Roy Harper; 1984.

:bulletyellow: Led Zeppelin live in Toronto 1971.

:bulletgreen: An early "How Many More Times" in 1968; in my opinion one of Plant's best live vocal performances ever. At around the five minute mark, for the record that really is Robert's voice, not Jimmy's guitar. His range was insane.

:bulletred: Dazed and Confused at the same year and gig.

:bulletblue: The Who's Keith Moon sharing the stage with Led Zeppelin; 6/23/77.

Offstage:

:bulletred: Robert Plant and Roger Daltrey together:

:bulletblue: Robert Plant gets pied in the face on a U.K. kid's show in 1982. :giggle:

Instrumentals:

:bulletgreen: An unreleased, beautiful Jimmy Page piano solo. (Yes, this is really Jimmy Page, not Jonesy here.)

:bulletblack: Jimmy Page humming and strumming.

Feel free to suggest others in the comments, I'll add them on here! :eager:
